Too many other casinos in town to go back to this one. When a server at the blackjack tables was asked for a drink, we were informed that that was another server, but that server never appeared. Drink service was sporadic to machine players. Another machine malfunctioned and the attendant was unable to get it back in working order. One video poker locked up with a small credit on it, and we were unable to get anyone to attend to it. In the casino, we found many machines that would not take our $20 bills or the tickets printed out from other machines. The room was adequate, although still decorated in the Magic theme and worn - certainly not worth the price paid, though.

The first impression upon entering the lobby of the casino on a Friday night (seafood buffet) was the fighting of the overpowering odors of the seafood buffet and the Mexican restaurant also at the front of the place. We hadn't been here since it changed it's theme from Magic to Boomtown. Going on short notice, we thought we were lucky to be able to get reservations at the hotel here.
